The shutter sound for the camera can get annoying especially in quiet places. Is there any way to turn off the shutter noise for the camera on the Storm 9530?

(If you'd check around) the only way to get rid of the sound is through 3rd party apps I believe, but I don't know of any. You can also dial your voicemail and while on that call take the picture, it will muffle it a little bit.

No theres no option on the OS that would let you shut it off.. There is some apps that allow you to do that but I can't name some because I've hardly seem some. The only one I know that can do that is Quicklaunch thats what I use.. It gives you the option to shut off the shutter sound as well to lock tilt..

Paid. But I consider it a must have BB app. it also does screen shots and its main function is the quick customizable menu.

Ah cool has all the features I want. Just downloaded the trial of "Camera To Go" and it gets the job done but its the same price as Quick Launch so for the extra goodies I may aswell get Quick Launch. Its not a theme right just an app? I'm so used to the Zen theme that when I make my own I stick to the Zen layout

I use the app called "Camera to go", it even have a timer. it cost 3bucks right now in mobihand.
