I love this site and read every day. I like the way .151 works but am intrigued by what I hear about .230. I am just confused. I hear good and bad. What should I do?
Just load it and see for yourself. IMO its the best OS that is out there.
Paulwright? Are you using a VZW storm, or an unlocked? your signature doesn't say. Have you experienced the "Incoming Call Glitch" on .230 that we T-Mobile 9530 users have had to deal with?
If so, is there a fix or a solution? I really want to load .230 (again), but the glitch is killing me.
I have been having the same dilema. I think I'm just going to hang on with .151 until verizon releases the official 5.0, which I hear is on it's way. .151 has been very stable for me and I don't see any reason to upgrade until it's official. IMO

Tappsmith, there is a thread that makes mention of a possible solution...
The only problem I had with .230 was that it wouldn't show missed calls from time to time. Then when I would try to place a call it would say call was in progress when there was no call. Toggling my wireless connection allowed me to make a call. I downgraded back to .167. I was impressed with the speed of .230 but the phone issue was annoying.

The only reason I never switched to .230 was due to compatibility issues (facebook, BBM, etc). I switched over about a week before the Facebook update came out and haven't gone back. The only program now that I can think of that isn't compatible is Quick Pull (which really isn't that big a deal to me). And there are no significant glitches that would make me consider switching back.
