Recently my AOL e-mail account was hacked into (I had a very simple password). I think it happened through my blackberry because one of the e-mails that the hacker sent out through my account mentioned it was sent through a wireless provider (I don't remember the name but it wasn't my cell phone provider). My blackberry Storm ISN'T password protected but should it be for this reason alone? Will password enabling my Storm stop hackers from accessing my e-mail account through my blackberry?

No it only keeps people from picking up your Storm and using it.
Curious? what actually happened to the phone or your info.

Nothing...YET. Once I discovered that my e-mail account had been hacked into, I figured out that it probably was due to my very weak password, so I changed it to something I think is more secure. So far, no more spam e-mails have been sent out via my account so its all good. Hopefully, that did the trick.
