    Hey guys.

i recently bought a blackberry storm, hens my being on this forum. now i love the phone, i love the idea of it and i enjoy it more than the iphone. i did however have to take my first one back due to the screen's sensitivity wasn't great in the corners. now that i have a new one, i've run into the same problem, but almost worse at times. any tips do deal with this ?

now also updates, im guessing that the updates are done in blackberry desktop manager. now on the big list of updates are there any i should avoid for any reason other than i don't need it.

    Thank you guys

    Hi, welcome..

A couple threads to look at that will answer your questions...

There are many good threads if you look around, use the site's how to and tips section, or make use of the search functions.

As for upgrades. There are a few discussion threads about each of the release versions (Verizon's are 4.7.0.65 and 4.7.0.75, Bell and Telus are 4.7.0.76) and some of the leaked versions that haven't been approved by, or released by the wireless carriers (4.7.0.83 and 4.7.0.85).

Each has its features and problems. You'd really need to search for the threas, read them, and make your own mind up. Most would say... Stick with the version your carrier released unless you really want to try the "leaked" ones. Remember, your carrier will only support you if you are running the versions they released.
