has anyone else been experiencing this?

my phone';s touch screen is all of a sudden no reacting well. i have to press my whole thumb down like 5 times before it registers my touching the screen, and swiping is a process in itself. i tried changing the "swipe sensitivity".

anyway to fix this?

yea, did a battery pull and it definately got better.

i always have just my google chat and the regular apps (such as home screen and phone) running, so not too much. this happens a lot to me tho

do you know what the tap interval and hover period does? on the screen/keyboard options

Mine did the same thing this morning after I did a back-up. did a battery pull, but it's still not quite at the sensitivity it was at before.

This happens to me when my fingers are really cold. After holding a cold drink and the tips of my fingers are cold the screen doesn't really respond so I have to heat my fingers up and it work great.

RETURN IT NOW. Mine did that and quickly totally failed. My screen does not react at all to being touched now.

Yep, mine does it too. Sometimes it seems like it hums along at full speed, and other times it won't register at all...extremely frustrating.
Looks like I need to shove some flammable paper into my "high-tech" device to try and "fix" it.

mine also touchscreen goes totally mad.. I am using 5.0.0.4(something) but its still better than that 4.7.128 (as far i can remember) but I am starting to hate that dumb device... I tried adjusting the tap interval, hover and swipe to the optimum i knew from blackberry support specialist.
I am planning to replace my screen..
Does any one know any secure website to order a new one and a front cover too (for internet shopping) "I live in US".

From what I've researched, you have to disassemble the Storm to check the # on the screen before you order - there are 2 different models. Sorry, can't really recommend anyone as I have not replaced it yet.

I found the bezel with top buttons, top cover, bottom buttons installed on eBay. Search eBay for "blackberry storm bezel" and it should come up - $16.99/make offer + frt from Canada, seller is scopeoptics.
