I would say it depends on what the other cell phone will support. I recently sent a .wav file to my wifes LG Env via MMS so she could have it as a ring tone.

Sure a good sharp pencil and note paper will allow you to make a good copy to send to another phone.....
I myself prefer to use a computer to access the ringtomes form the phones file system and transfer them that way
