- Hello fellow crackberryers!
Ok I'm a newbie here but maybe someone can answer this Q for me. Whenever I download music to be used as a ringtone, it sounds nice and loud playing on the BB but as a ringtone it's very low. Barely audible, unlike the preloaded ringtones. Yes, the volume is up all the way, all settings are for LOUD yet, ringing isn't. Can anyone explain this one?

Thanks08-01-08 09:33 AMLike 0 - Wrong forum, but this works on the Storm too so I will help anyhow. I use Audacity Audio ripper to create an MP3 in mono sound format. Then from your MyVerizon login, navigate to Messaging > Picture messaging. Send that audio file from your puter to your phone in an MMS message. When you receive it, hit Menu > Save Ringtone. Easy as that, plus filesize is WAYYY smaller, so you don't run into memory problems down the road, and it can be stored on your card instead of on the phone.04-30-09 01:25 AMLike 0
