I managed to wipe out all of my calendar events by accident but I did just do a backup yesterday. Is there a way to restore just my events and nothing else with DM?

Are you using Outlook? If so, just re-sync it and make sure you have the "outlook overwrites BB" option set. (not sure of the exact term).

I figured that but I'm wondering if I should restore everything or if there is a way of restoring just the events and if so, would I be better off doing just that?

Just do the restore. It'll do all your settings also.
