    Just got a new blackberry and was going to sell my old one.
    How can I restore the phone to the factory settings?
    I want to remove the email account, contacts and everything back to factory load.

    Options> security options> security wipe. That will erase all personal data.

    Yup.

    You could also use BBSak or set a password and enter the wrong password ten times. All three of these choices wipes the devices pretty well.
