I just got my storm and the phone is pretty cool...The transition for me was seamless, i've only owned berries, so i'm familiar with the OS.

I was kind of intimidated by the Suretype, but i picked it up in less than 10 seconds, very easy mode to type in, except when you want to type names, i still haven't figured out a method to do that yet smoothly.

CONS:

Camera is unusable

The bottom half of the screen sinks when i'm in landscape, works on and off..(i don't know if its supposed to be like that)

PROS:

Browser quicker than expected
Messaging is cake SMS/Emails
Video/Audio/pics are awesome
Bluetooth transfers are flawless
Phone is crystal clear.
Basically everything else works great..

I'm getting the device replaced, cause of that little screen malfunction, but overall i would say i'm very satisfied, RIM put out a great piece of hardware.
