So i got my replacement phone yesterday and fully charged it. The phone i had before replacing would last 2 days on a full charge. Well today the replacement phone with new battery only lasted about 9 hours before being completely dead. I am running .85 and made sure all apps were closed. Can this be a hardware defect or is there a break in period with the batteries? I cant remember how long my original lasted when i first used it.
Give it a few charge/discharge cycles. It needs a couple of these to come up to full capacity. My batt only lasted about 6 hours the first day, after several cycles, I can get 2-3 DAYS out of it (if I don't watch too many movies).

Try to remember, as long as you have some time, to test the new before sending back the old. If i remember right when i traded in my 8830 they gave me 10 days. That way you dont wind up with one worse than you had.
