I just dled the Soft Reset app and disabled compatibility mode as well
got it because I have had SOME issues with the .83
the VZW screen and media card inserted problem and then..
randomly a white screen with App something error
both required battery pulls to fix
MY QUESTION is I understand that soft reset is supposed to mimic the battery pull but in those instances I had problems with there's no way to use the soft reset right? because I couldnt get to the App... correct?
So when do you use a soft reset?
It seems you want to when your phone is Fin up (ie spontaneously combusting)
You can try to see if you can set one of the soft keys to "soft reset" that way even if you get a white screen if you hit that soft key it'll do a battery pull. just be careful you aren't hitting it all the time haha.
