How is it funny to make fun of a person who makes an effort to communicate with you in their non-native language?
To answer the persons ? You have a berry that is cdma and gsm capeable. If you servise provider is cdma all you have to do is give them the number under the batt and you'll be good. If it is a gsm carrier you first need to make sure its unlocked wich they have web sites for but they cost $. if/once its unlocked they you can put a gsm sim in it and should be good.

A thousand apologies.
For the pete of sake, don't take it so personally. ;)
Anyway, we're just having a bit of fun, not making fun of people. English is not my first language either, so it's ok for me to have a bit of fun. ;)
OP, no disrespect... We're all fun around here... You just need to have a sense of humor and be light-hearted to hang out. :D

Hi,
My service provider is GSM.
This means I hae to unlock my phone and then my GSM SIM should work on 9500.
In India , CDMA Does have SIM cards.
That's true, my boss has a 8800 on Telus which is a cdma carrier and he has a sim card in his phone. I didn't believe but he took out battery and showed me.

I am on a CDMA network and i use a SIM card.....how does that work?!
Incorrect. Telus is a hybrid network CDMA and GSM (recently). If your boss has an 8800, that phone is most definitely a GSM model. That's why he has a SIM card in it.
