Default PUSH - email not consistent

I have hotmail setup to my BB Storm. When I first got the phone about two years ago, hotmail push was almost instant and consistent. I have not changed any settings. But now days, I usually do not get the email on my BB until a few hours later. And when I do, I get about 3,4 emails that was "piled up" all at once.

Is it hotmail that is causing the problem or BB?

What I did was, I set up vzw.blackberry.net email account and have all of hotmail to forward it to that account. I get all my hotmail emails almost immediately now. But the problem is that it does not reconcile with hotmail. So hotmail is full of unopened emails when I access it via internet. Also, when I send emails, I do not have any "sent" record on a web based mail system for records.

Any help? I can I get my hotmail to push right away as it used to?

This is a Hotmail issue with how it interacts with BlackBerry.

The problem has been going on for years. Until they fix something on their end, your best bet would likely be to switch to a different email provider.
