Instead of battery pulls, try either Quick Pull or Soft Reset applications. They can be found in the 3rd Party Apps sub-forum here. This will save you taking the battery cover off and having to pull your battery out 95% of the time. About the only time it won't help is if the Storm is actually locked up.
