Problems with "Try It" in sound profiles. (inaudible)
Got a new storm the other day after all the problems I was having. Probably cost some poor trainee at the Verizon store his job. After 45 minutes of arguing, he walks into the conversation and says "You know, your phone is probably still under warranty and we'll replace it for free."
BUT I DIGRESS. (sorry)
When attempting to set my sound profiles on the new phone how I like them, I am hitting an annoying problem. No matter what I do, no matter the volume level, I can just BARELY hear the sound I have picked for a particular alert when I press the "Try It" key at the bottom of the page.
I want my SMS alert to be pretty loud. So I set it to 9. Hit "Try It". Nothing. Its so quiet I hit it 5 times before I realized it was making a very faint noise.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with this problem and has a solution.
And to all of you with mechanical issues with your *almost* year old storm, go get a new one with the warranty. I didn't get a nice new upgrade, but I did get a new phone, and at least I don't have to try to decide between an S2 and droid yet.
Thanks!
