The phone connects and everything is fine but when i go to media and click BB media syn it says "the blackberry media syn failed to initialize. Please run the Blackberry desktop manager with administrative privileges and try again." When i run it as administrator it doesn't even detect my phone.

Also i want to use the media manager function but I'm not even able to click that. Any ideas?

same problem here going to download it from blackberry and see if that fixes it. I tried right clicking on the desktop icons and set to "open as administrator" but still no luck.

Go to options>Memory>auto enable storage mode when connected, set it to "yes". I had the same problem w/my mac and this cleared it up.

Is that "options" from the Blackberry Desktop Manager? If so, I'm not given "memory" as a choice.
