Anyway to make the display image for a contact show up when they call? If not whats the point of attaching an image to a a contact?

I figured out my problem. I guess the SMS and MMS do not show up under the 'Messages' area... So I ahd to take the SMS and MMS out of my applications folder and stick it back on home screen. Got rid of the message icon now!

Sorry to double post, but my question ended up on page 4 after about 45 mins!!!

One thing that I really want/need to know is if the chaperone.vzw.com page loads to the point that you can log in. I would reeeeaalllly appreciate if someone could try that for me.

I placed my order at 6:30 this morning. Was supposed to be overnighted and delivered by 12:30 pm tomorrow. When I called for tracking info I was told it wouldn't be shipped until 11/25. Grrrrr.

(I owned a Curve in Sept for about 2 hours, and the chaperone site wouldn't load on it. That being one of the reasons I returned it.)

How do you exit programs completely because if you just back out of it and than hold the BB button to open the task manager, all of the programs u backed out of are still running, so how do you exit them completely?

I typed it onto the default browser and it brought me to the login screen with the sign in buttons.

Hit (don't hold) the BB button and scroll down to close. That will exit out of it completely. A few programs always remain "running" however: browser, BBM, home screen, messages, and calls.

Seriously whats the point of attaching an image to the contact if it doesn't show up when the person calls you?

Also

Does media manager work for anyone? It's the slowest running program I have ever used. I can never get it to fully work. I end up just going to my computer and manually dropping pics/ringtones onto my sd card.

any better way? anyone like media manager? ive never used it in the past either

how do you take off some of the icons on the home screen? mine has 8 (2 rows), i'd like only 4.

there is an application called VibAndRing (i think) that will make it vibrate and ring at the same time.

highlight icon, click BB button and select hide. You can unhide them after by selection 'Show all' in the BB menu.

From the homescreen hit the bb button, then you'll get the next screen with all of your icons. From there, hit the bb button again and go to options. You'll get to choose how many rows of icons you want on your homescreen.

on my chocolate i really got good and fast at using the word selection when texting. Why is there no word option instead of multitap. this phone is perfect to use for word
