My storm takes well over 3.5 mins to reboot when ever I do a battery pull or update software requiring a restart. Is there anyway to shorten that time up? Many posts I have seen have people saying their reboot time is only 1.5 mins - 2.0 mins. Any help would be greatly appreciated or if someone could point me in the right direction do a different thread?? Thank you

For me, OS Version 4.7.0.122 (I call it the Hassle OS) takes about 1.5 minutes. It seems to improve.

well I recently (within last 2 weeks) made the jump from .75 to .113 and have noticed no change in reboot time. Maybe I'll consider the .122 but I was just sketchy on the copy and paste of the Java and CDMA files b/c I didnt wanna mess anything up

There is nothing you can do to speed up the Storm, and it is slow at everything

I get reboot in just over 2 mins with hybrid v3. I'm not doing the .122 upgrade because I'm too satisfied with v3 to take the chance on all that copy and paste.

You are just cheating on yourself by not taking the chance.

Well I would say I am torn on what to tell you. I made the mistake of upgrading recently from a config that as perfect in every way. From there it was nothing but hassles and I regret having done it. So I just went to .122 and I have to say that it is a HUGE improvement! So if things are good, don't mess with it. If not, I strongly recommend .122.
