Please help... Phone stuck on loudest ringtone

Hi Guys, hope you can help me. After I installed the latest update OS v.1041 my phone seems to be stuck on the highest volume when ringing... I went into set ring tones/alerts and edit profile but still no luck, tried many battery pulls. When I change the ring tone say to a different sound and put the volume on 3 in blackberry messenger tones it saves it but still plays the old tone I used on full volume, this is the case with my bbm groups, facebook notifications and sms's. The only volume and tone that seems to be working correctly is when my phone rings.

Would really appreciate your guys input..
