ok so i got a new storm....backed it up but none of the applications, or youmil came on the new phone is there somthing im missing? please if anyone knows how to fix this let me know.

Not quite sure what your question is. Did you have a previous Storm and are trying to restore your previous apps? Or ... are you expecting some of the 3rd party apps to already be on the Storm, like YVMail, etc.

Doing a backup through Desktop Manager doesn't back up your third party apps. They won't be on your phone after you restore.
