what r they can u like message another blackberry using only their pin?!?! sorry...i am not really new...just wana know lol...

yes, the pin messages are for BB's only.

Yes you can either send them a message via email or by using Blackberry Messenger or BBM as a lot of people call it.

the PIN is basically a device specific address, can be used for BBM registration or like an email address....and FYI you can also send BBM add requests via email address, if you haven't noticed yet...
