Ok so I reset my phone via meterberry, it flashed an error code so fast I couldnt see it, when the phone came back up, all my phonebook contacts were gone, my bbm contacts were gone, my phone theme was gone, but all my 3rd party apps remained. Thank god I backed my phone up last night. Has this ever happend to anyone? Does anyone know why it happened?

A reset usually puts the phone like it was when you first received it. All user files are deleted. That is normal.

it was just like a security wipe except my 3rd party apps stayed really weird

right, there are different levels of security wipe. that is the first stage, you have to click a box to get rid of apps and such
