hey Guys,
when I'm in phone mode I'm stuck using either multi tap or SureType, isn't there a way to bring up a QWERTY keyboard to do a contact lookup??

Yes, if you have installed one of the leaked beta operating systems and switched your portrait keyboard to QWERTY. I just checked on my phone and it is showing me a QWERTY keyboard. I am running 4.7.0.103.
