phone worked fine early today than after a flight the following issue
1. keypad only works with pre-set speed dial numbers and when holding down number that is not speed dial nothing happens

2. when dialing speed dial number for work and then show keypad to enter voice mail, the only numbers that show up are 0, 5, 1 and *

can receive calls fine and make calls to contacts

pulled battery and no change

of course verizon has no answer but to wipe and restore or send replacement

Go to options -> language and text input -> change the input to just english

i believe that's the correct setting.. it may take some trial and error, but this should resolve it for you

this did for reasons I don't understand...need to let verizon support knows as they never have heard of the issue...not suprised as they typically just want to replace the phone.
