Seriously, anytime anyone says anything about the Storm and the iPhone in the same conversation, I just say "they're not the same and the iPhone is 'probably' better. But, I just love my phone and never enjoyed using the iPhone since they day it came out."

Happened again today, and they iPhone users got real defensive about their devices. Then they tried to use mine, got frustrated even though I was speeding away the internet AND texting AND bb messaging AND checking my email without a hitch. Then they realized I had expandable memory and changed the topic.

Just pad their ego and tell them they have a great device, and enjoy yours. Soon enough iPhone users will realize these are two completely different animals and stop with the pissing contest.

I have had similar instances as well. My cousin an avid iphone user refused to even acknowledge it. Finally I asked him what he thought of it and all he could say was "At least I have an apstore".

At least we have Copy and Paste!!!!

I noticed this too with a guy I work with. I think this happens because they secretly are embarrassed with their iphone and now they see a more grown up alternative. How can you rock something that it is so popular by 17 year olds? They know they wanna look grown up with a Blackberry.

p.s. - no offense to any 17 year olds in here. It's just that I went to Best Buy and played with the iphone on display. I put it down and a little girl swooped it up right away. I felt silly to have even touched it. Good phone, great apps, but too much of a kids toy.

i'm a big Mac guy too, but the iPhone sucks for business. i would NEVER go back to it or AT&T

at least you'll get your email - people on iphones have to check for email all day long just to get messages in their email boxes.

and the keyboard SUCKS compared to the Storm.

Funny thing for me, my best friend is on her 2nd iPhone and she said when I get my BB she wants to play around with it. Hmmmm.....

I have an iPod touch and we all know it's the same as the iPhone without the phone, and it kind of annoyed me a bit today. Mostly because I had to find a nice WiFi connection in NYC. My storm is arriving sometime tomorrow (Fri) afternoon. Let's hope all goes well and it doesn't annoy me as much as the touch did today. )

My buddy has iphone and of course he is in love with it. So I got my Storm delivered to his house where I was staying for a week, and then it started "The battle". In that time I had .65 and it was glitching...

But I would tell you one thing. He admired Storm ability to receive AIM messages at any time, iphone cant do that...

And you know guys it is will grow. We will have much more application written for Storm. So it is just a matter of time.
