^^^ I love my mac.. however I do have seperate pc's and if need be I would virtual machine a pc box..

I use the mac for 99 percent of everything accept once in a while you run into something like this..

Same here, well I have vista installed via bootcamp mostly for gaming. Love my MBP and OS X. Will be happy when RIM releases next year there working MAC DM and native way to do updates. Slow in coming but I am sure it will be worth it.

Also to the OP let us know how the OTA upgrade turns out. I am almost tempted to downgrade to .65 to just do the OTA upgrade first hand.

apparently i need to delete 1.9MB of personal memory to upgrade...anyone, what is personal memory? my apps?

Might be a stupid question, but how do I do it over the air rather than plugging it in with the desktop manager and all of that BS? Is one way quicker than another?

It is going pretty quick. 14MB download...about 2 mins to backup...reboot and now unpacking OS. So far so good.

DM is probably quicker, but i have a mac so i needed to do it OTA. So you go to options>advanced options>wireless upgrades. Then you check for upgrades and it should come up...then just download

Wasn't the DM download over 120 MB? This one was only 14MB...interesting.

That is just because the DM version wipes everything and downloads everything again, whereas the OTA update is just an update.
