    Have been running Verizon 148 for a while now and finally wanted to change and so I tried to go to .191, .230 and even to .238. Well I followed the instructions to the T and yet everytime the phone would dim to the black scream it would not come off of the black screen and I'd need to do a batt pull. Other than that I love the new software and wish I could use it. However, I gave up and went back to 148 and no screen issues BUT...when I restored my backup file to the phone I lost all my favorites in VZNav and also in all my passwords in password keeper.

    How do I restore these 2 things, is it even possible or am I starting over from scratch?

    If you restored your backup file and it didn't come up, I would assume you are SOL.

    You sure you followed the instructions to a T?

    positive that I did and I'm trying to go back to 238 now changed some things and hoping it works

    When I've had these issues I wiped the handset completely with JL or something like that and then started all over again.
