I agree. The phone function of the phone works much better.

I hope in the next update they force portrait view when receiving a call. I think by forcing portrait it would solve a lot of missed call problems.

Still playing around with it, so far cant see much difference. The switching of the screens, from app to app is a tad faster. Time will tell.

The dialpad no longer lags and the display of the dialed numbers is just as fast, but the display on a connected call still lags a bit. Meaning, for example, when punching in account numbers with your bank's automated VRU - the dialpad responds instantly to dialing account 1234 but the display of 1234 lags.

From what I have noticed:

When locking it actually locks and unlocks. The .65 when I click on lock it lags and still seems like its unlocked but when you click on the screen it states its locked.

When going from regular view to landscape view it switches faster between the two but still feels like it could be faster but better than before.

Browser is quicker.

Taking pictures still has a delay but quicker than the .65

Overall Im happy with the update. Makes the phone a whole lot better to use. I would recommend the update ASAP!

So mine seemed to be a little slower at first, but maybe it needed to "warm up"? starting to seem pretty fast now.

Someone on here said that their application memory seemed to stay at a higher level... I concur with that... mine is at 48 mb... before it was in the mid 30's

Been playing with the new OS for a few minutes and it's definitely faster for me.

Like I said though, only been a few minutes. I will post something more thorough once I've had time to test.
