Updated worked fine for me. Everything is faster. It did delete my Premium version of Docs to Go, so be prepared to reload and reboot.

I'm yet another Storm user that can confirm it works. The accelerometer doesn't seem to be any faster but the camera definitely loads quicker. (Still much lag with taking pictures though as others have pointed out.)

So far it seems like the focus was on the accelerometer, one very pleasant surprise was over 50m file free with the whole OS loaded, 250 contacts and viigo, opera, beyond411, and softreset.
With .65 and no VAD, I never made it over 49m free..

We'll see how the memory leak and battery life roll today....

So far though, it's more than I was expecting...

Also just noticed, signal is a lot better, a couple of dead zones went
Away........

Loaded it. It actually seems more laggy to me. Can I go back to .65?

Yeah, just go back to DM, app loader, update software. .65 should be listed there

This is the update that should be offered really soon. We'll probably have to wait at least a few more weeks minimum for another.

Try doing a battery pull, it worked wonders for me. After the update I thought to myself that there was no difference but after the battery pull everything seems much faster. I am pretty happy so far. Sure there are still more improvements needed but this is def a step in the right direction.

I did the update last night, it's definitely faster. switching from portrait to landscape is done instantly now. Before when i did a battery pull, it used to take forever to reboot, now it happens really fast.

The Bold will be faster, it has a faster processor that has less work to do. --bg
