I downloaded 8 MP4 movies onto my computer and then transferred them to my Storm. All seemed to go well with the transfer, but I can only watch 2 of the 8 movies. The other 6 have a jumbled up video and audio.

The catch is -- all 8 of the MP4 movies play fine on my computer.

Any idea why this would happen???

Thanks in advance for your help. I LOVE MY STORM!

Are you using iTunes to download the movies?

Nope. I pulled them from a few different sites.

I may be completely incorrect on this, but I think mp4s can be encoded different ways. I've been using a program called super... something, to encode my videos and there's a thread in the forum that shows what settings need to be used to for the videos to play properly on the storm.

Link for the thread. I've converted all the videos on my storm using this method and they look beautiful.

Thats odd, cause mp4's play fine for me... My Zune uses the mp4 format, and I just transfered them to my media card... and all 6 movies I have in mp4 play fine on my Storm.

.mp4 is the container or file format, which the storm supports.

However you can have different codecs in the mp4 container. Chances are some of those files are using a codec not supported by the Storm.
