On rare occasion I have the need to tether my BB through my laptop. It's not enough for the monthly fee - but does VZW offer a one-day option like they do with VZ Navigator? I know for that service they charge you $2.99 for 24 hours of use.
The best option IMO would be just to pay on my credit card now and get 24 hours of tethering. Is this offered?
they can prorate the plan for you...call and add, or just provision by connecting, and running VZAM and it'll ask you if you wanna subscribe.
keep track of how much data you use, and do the math, 5,120mb/number of days in the month=mb per day allowed.
if you're within that amount, then you can call and remove when you're done, if not figure out how many days worth of the plan you need to cover the usage, and wait for that time to pass...(sorry for the lesson on proration, if you already understood...)
