no it's not that far away lol!! 13 days away, not too far to wait. Then I will have 2 weeks after to wait lol!! almost another month. Atleast it will be here before black friday, yipee let's see how many get this as a Chirstmas gift.

After carefully looking at the documents posted by BGR, it seems to me that these events on those specific dates are geared toward Small Business Customers and not consumers. The mailers are referring to the mailers that people have recieved to register for events at specific stores. I remember looking at the registration site; my state wasn't even on the list.

Also, I have heard numerous times that Business accounts are usually able to get it a week later. Therefore, I still believe that there is a chance that this phone will be out earlier than what BGR is assuming.

one crappy part in all of this is my company falls in line with their "small business" range of employees (1-49) and i don't think we got notice of this even though we are verizon customers. wtf. though i am taking off that entire week, so hopefully i'll have a storm waiting for me the next monday morning.

My thoughts exactly. I was really looking forward to an 8GB card. That would really be a disappointment if they have 4 2GB cards. What gives. Except it does say preloaded with content. I suppose depending on the content, it might not be such a bad deal. But what's the content, and why not put it on an 8GB card. Doesn't make sense.

Correct B2B is always a week sooner then the official release. Same thing happened with the pearl and curve for verizon.

The VZW rep for my company told me just this evening that the 'official' launch date was the 16th. This would fit in with what Kill3r was surmising.
