I updated my 9530 to .114 with little issue and very happy with the advanced functionality. The only chink in my armor now is that when I dial or want to do a VZW OTA roaming capability update my numeric keyboard will not appear. Thoughts?

It is a known bug with the .114 os you have two options

1. Enable multitap for your portrait keyboard option and that will fix it. I use multitap all the time so I don't have the issue. I know some are just enabling multitap right before they make a phone call and then switching back.
2. Use a different os or use a .114 hybrid there are some out there, check the beta os forum.
