OK, I have dusted off this Storm and wanted to give it another try and un-nuking it.

Here is what is happening. Stuck in a constant loop. I try to do the steps recommended to unbrick the device.

After the Apploader is going into 'Waiting for JVM to restart', the handheld boots up after about 30 seconds, but it shows an old theme i had installed. (I recognize it from the icon in the middle of the screen on bootup). After a few seconds, the bottom four buttons light up. Then the screen goes blank, and back to a reboot. So it acts like the wipe never took hold.

Any suggestions for this thing, or is it beyond repair?

BTW the only way I can get the system to recognize it is by pulling out the battery and waiting for the battery/lightening bolt to show up.
