I found the .75 version at this link just a few minutes ago.
at gadgetwidgets.com
It seems to be downloading correctly. Good luck.

i posted this on another thread ..but i thought id throw it here

i think the bottom line is that everyone is going to have different experiences with OS' based upon the personal situation with their phones. SOme people are upgrading and installing over the previous os, some are wiping (like i have) and some have different memory available and apps installed.
I for one have .76 installed from a a clean wipe ( i actually had a 507 error nuked storm) and after loading, removing VZNav, VV, and installing apps ota after the OS install i have such a drastic improvement over .75 that i find it so strange that everyone is reverting or even calling .76 laggy at best.

all in all, i would recommend to everyone to try each OS with their preferred set up of apps, etc and see which runs best for them...but in my experience with all BB's (4 in total) always do a wipe first..everything works better after a wipe

To All Noobs & New BB Users,

Installing a new BB OS after a wipe will always produce better results than simply upgrading the OS build. Even if it's a minor build increment (.75 to .76), it's still worthwhile to do a wipe/install instead of a simple upgrade.

After doing a wipe/install, sometimes the OS feels laggy overall. THIS IS NORMAL! It does not mean your OS sucks, and there's no need to downgrade. Just give it a little time and your OS will be cruising before you know it. You'll definitely see improvements with a little patience.

Don't be scared. It's not complicated. There are detailed step-by-step instructions available for wipe/install (and numerous other things) that a 10 year old could understand. The search function is your friend. Even if you brick your phone, there are instructions available to help you restore your phone. Just search for it.

For those of you familiar with Windows, maybe you can relate to this analogy:

BB wipe/install --> Windows clean install
BB upgrade --> Windows upgrade

A Windows clean install always runs better than a Windows upgrade. Same goes for BB OS. It's not complicated. It's not daunting. The learning curve is small. Just be patient, and you'll be rewarded with a more enjoyable BB experience.

Ok, just updated from leaked .75 to .76. After done, I did a battery pull. All seems fine except I no longer have an icon for browsing. When I clicked one of the shortcuts for a website I got the following message: "Your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device." I did notice somewhere in one of these threads a similar problem but cannot find it (it was another icon I believe). Anybody know what to do here?
