Just want to confirm that this can be installed over the .75 and that a wipe is not needed.
just in general, i feel the device always works more smoothly when wiping and upgrading......on another topic always remember to flush after wiping

It's so odd that so many different builds would be out for the different manufacturers...

Thank you for sharing the knowledge... I am ready to try this considering I did not think 75 did all that much for me.

It identifies the carrier. You have to do it cause this is a Bell software release, not Verizon

Verizon does not support this OS, but yes it will work, and yes you need to delete the Vendor XML file.

So is this what Verizon will be releasing?

Also, is this the equivalent of the Vodafone update?

Is it possible that somebody can put the file back up with the vendor.xml already deleted? Im so excited because my storm is on its way and I was going to give it .75 right out the box, but now, once we get a comparison, im going to .76!!!

If Verizons official release is also .76 will this inhibit us from using it when it comes out? I ask because if it has the same OS # .76 then it wouldn't really be seen as an upgrade. More like a cross-grade?

CX What is your take on this?

I'm sorry. What do you mean "Flush" after wiping? A battery pull?

    Thanks.
