anyone update yet? will it work with Verizon if you delete the vendor file

I did the leaked upgrade so if there's no big difference I'll wait until Verizon decide to release the Offical .76. That should happen before Barack takes office.

Turn your internet off and it will work. When you get to the Summery Screen that tells you what it will install, you can turn your internet back on.

I removed all updated software in the control panel, installed the .76, removed vendor.xml, wiped my blackberry, downgraded to .65 and still get this message.

any ideas?

Ok for those wanting to upgrade their OS. First go into Control Panel on your computer and delete any BlackBerry DEVICE Software if there is any. Then download the OS to your computer. Then click on the icon and it will install to your computer. Then got to C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Applo ader and delete the Vendor XML file. Then close it out. Plug in device, open DM, and it should prompt you to update.

I wish I took your advice on this yesterday..I deleted everything with blackberry on it....I got so fricken frustrated!!!!
