I have had my storm for 4 days, since then my Application Memory Free Space has dropped from 29 to 24 to 15 to 13 and now its at 15 again. IS this a memory leak? What should my app memory be? i know it will go back up if i do a battery pul, but i dont want to have to do this.is this a problem? thanks

What Apps do you have? Do you leave them open all the time or close them properly? That's pretty low for a 4 day old phone IMO.

ihave downloaded vzw tones deluxe and app world. all programs are closed except main 5> it goes up and down now its at 18. Do i need a new phone, id like to keep tihs one it works fine except this issue

Install a newer OS. Im assuming you are still on .75?

I would install a leaked OS, .113 is my preference, and do a battery pull. The apps that you have running or installed will dictate the amount of memory drain over a period of time, but none the less, the memory will go down regardless. It is always good to do a battery pull once in a while or use QuickPull if you dont want to take off the back all the time.

Oh, btw, memory drain is normal for the Storm. If its an extreme leak of memory though it most likely is an app.

In your case, 4 days without a battery pull, this is normal.

i just was hoping not to have to take the time to do this, i never had to with my curve.

SHould i rturn it for a new one, Do you think the storm 2 rumors are true?

It really doesnt take long at all. Seriously, do a battery pull and you will see that your Memory will be back up again. Upgrade your OS and you will see that it stays up longer.

Even if the rumors of the Storm 2 are true, this is an OS issue, not a hardware issue.

It could be a memory leak... try updating your OS that may help...
