So im new here 1st time owning a bb i have a lil sit here i bought the phone used and flashed with page plus as a carrier. Everything works great on the phone except i cant figure out how to edit the email account thats set up on the phone im receiving the messages that aew beeing sent to the prev owner. And when i go into the setup wizard under email set up to create or add email it says unable to connect to the selected server. What can i do??? any help would be appreciated thanks in advance>.
Correct, you have to have a data plan to use the BIS servers and such. Although, it sounds like you have one because you are receiving the old emails. I believe you will need to have the pin released by the previous owner so that it can be added to your account and you input your email options and settings instead of theirs.
