Ok my phone was involved in an accident the other day along with me. At first look it seemed ok. all there was was a scratch on the side and i was going to deal with it. now its running slower and the camera is being ********. When i go from camera to view pics the screen looks like its all snowy. (like a tv with a station that doesnt come threw.) my storm smacked the windshield. Should i have the insurance pay for a new one or is this normal

You have insurance so it doesn't hurt to see if it 'fixes' itself with updates and soft resets....worst case, put your insurance money to work and get a new one. I had the Storm for 2 weeks and I found that it's not as durable as my trusted 8330 Curve for my lifestyle. Maybe I just didn't have the patience for the 9530...anyhow...good luck!

i would leave out the windshield part, and bring it to a store and see what they say, worst case scenario they will make you go through insurance..

No, Verizon has a set price...we all pay the same; doesn't even matter if it's a storm, curve, pearl, etc...with insurance, it doesn't matter what happened, they will replace the device.
