    After installing the new OS my SMS TXT screen has changed.

    There is a small rectangular box to type in with the smiley next to it.
    If I type a line, the return key does not space down to the next line. If I press it twice it auto sends whatever is typed at that time.
    I can't find a way to change this.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Well that is the long sought after Threaded SMS much like IM. Just keep typing it will auto expand the box.

    I think your SOL. You can do what you want if you press and hold the space key though.

    to press the enter button and go down a line like it use to you just press the shift button. or it is also the capital button. then press enter. the button looks like this aA with an arrow pointing up.

    You can also switch to original view and it will use the same screen view as the old OS.

    Had a buddy ask me how to do this and I couldn't find it. I guess they don't like threaded sms so if someone figures out how to do this please post!

    So the new os 5.0 has threaded SMS? So it's like txt message I'm style dunno how I feel on that but I'll let you know in a few days when I pick up my storm

    Like anything new soon enough everyone will get used to it. Hopefully they will tweak it more, like taking the callback number away so there is more room to view txt field. And maybe giving us more options for changgng appearance and such.
    This is an official verizon release, but I don't Think RIM is stopping development on the OS. So hopefully we will have some nice leaks to look forward to.
