Hey guys ive revived a few bricked blackberry's without problems, But my storm is giving me a weird issue... my storm was perfect then I let the battery get real low didnt think of it.. and noticed my phone was dead... no big deal... I plug in my charger and nothing.... I go borrow my friends battery and all it does is blink once then 4 fast blinks after it... it will not turn on at all... if i plug it in the usb the computer does not see it... so i cannot wipe it and start over? any ideas? even with the battery out if i plug it in usb it just blinks red light... and soon as i put in the charged battery iut just blinks....

4 blinks + repeat? Pull the battery and then plug into the PC with loader running already. When it says PIN:UNKNOWN connect battery and hit next. You can then reload the OS and start over.

from my experience, you have to be VERY QUICK at hitting the next button when the PIN:UNKNOWN shows up.

It might take a few tries for you to get it to work, but it will work.

I was able to revive my bricked phone by just keeping the phone connected to the computer. After 5 minutes or so, Desktop Manager recognized it and asked if I wanted to load an OS. I believe I didn't remove the battery.

Are you sure the battery is charged? Also try it with the micro sd card removed.

You will get more reliable results with a fully charged battery.
