The main screen switches just fine but when I go into my emails or text, it does not want to switch to landscape at all. I could leave the phone sitting there in landscape position but it still shows the portrait. Please Help!

I've heard of others experiencing this problem. They said that they could only get it to switch if they held it a certain way. The way that they solved it was holding the BB straight up and down (portrait). They then turned the BB on it's side to landscape.

made switch your phones with some of the others who wish they could turn off the landscape. I personally like.

It has to be a battery pull fix

I am unclear by your post, it sounds like you are saying it will not change when it is set down? If that is the case, then yes that is what will happen. It will either show portrait or landscape, but stay in that position.

If it will not change between the two when you are holding it upright and turn it from vertical to horizontal, then you should do a battery pull.
