Anybody have any idea?
Thanks12-04-08 01:01 AMLike 0 - That's not what I'm talking about. Under the SIM menu, it'll show a phone number listed on the SIM. This info is not the associated number for the SIM, but rather a setting you can write to the SIM card for display purposes. Check to make sure that it's there.
All else fails, just go into Phone (Send once) and then dial ##000000 and hit Send. Check to see what the number info is in there. You can enter the number info in there, but that's the CDMA programming screen. It's possible that the OS has a bug that keeps it from reading the right number off the SIM card, but again... if the SIM doesn't have a number written to it, it won't display correctly... this is how it's on GSM BBs.12-04-08 01:09 AMLike 0 - Did you even read my post above? The CDMA NAM is controlled via the CDMA programming screen ##000000.12-04-08 01:33 AMLike 0

At least that's what I do

Of course this works for you. It's how the 9500 works. The 9530 (CDMA enabled) version, that little part of the code seems to always pull from the CDMA radio programming rather then the "active radio". It would be nice if RIM could change the OS coding for this part to pull from CDMA radio provision if you're in CDMA or from the SIM card branded phone number if you're in GSM/UMTS mode. Seems only logical to me. I guess someone didn't think about that when they were writing the code.... primary reason why we're still in leaked beta mode right now and not final release mode.02-15-09 12:43 AMLike 0 -
