My Storm is only two weeks old and clean but after reading so many posts about dust under the screen I decided to take some preventative measures.
Don't laugh but my fix is Reynolds Seal-Tight Plastic Wrap. This stuff is very strong, thin and stretches quite a bit so you wrap the front of your Storm tightly and smoothly with no creases. It will also protect it from a little rain. I also use the Verizon Clear Hard Case so I just wrapped it with Reynolds and put the hard case back on. Sounds come right through, I just had to make a little hole around the charging port and camera lens because it was a little fuzzy. Super! No worries about dust or moisture under the screen. I do the same thing for my TV remote controls. It keeps food, crud and what not off of them and when they get dirty I just wipe them with a damp cloth. When the Reynolds starts to look dingy take it off and repeat.

This thread is the funniest thread I've been to in a while! Anyway, back to the dust issue. I have a silicone cover on my storm, and I haven't had any problems with dust since I put it on. It covers the cracks on the side of my screen, for the most part.

haha this is hilarious, why don't you just get insurance since you have VZW? If the dust messes up the phone you get another one right? and won't air duster spray get rid of anything in between the screen and phone?
