my blackberry problem, phone working, screen not.

I have a BlackBerry Storm 9500, and so far has worked well, but today he had a problem, it was turn off, and not working, I thought that there is a problem in OS and so I installed some update, the OS upgrade from 4.7 to 5.0 , sometime after I installed she was turned on and the screen is working well, but it was short as he was turn off and the screen is not working, the problem was here: the phone was working but no screen, I was convinced when did a call the Blackberry, which means that the blackberry was working, but not the screen. after a time the screen worked, but was blocked display, on this moment Blackberry is working but not the screen.. light on the keyboard is working, I want to know from you what is the problem, is in software or hardware...
