up until this morning i navigated through the main bb menus by moving my finger over the icons, and these icons would highlight themselves. now today i have a mouse icon that moves around the icons instead of highlighting them. dont like it one bit, but i have no idea how to change it back.

I was only aware that could happen in the browser. Did you download a new theme?

It's because you probably messed with a theme other then the preloaded one.

Just pull your battery and you should be fine.

it's not in the web browser, it's in the home menus.

i did install the appleberry theme, but the mouse pointer shows up regardless of whether i'm in this theme or the default theme.

did a battery pull, no change

Read my post, it's because of AppleBerry. You may need to uninstall that theme. It's a known issue with that theme. Others have reported this same issue.

there is an iberry theme that does not have this issue if you wanna continue with the I themes..
