I am looking at my phone and I know that the telus reps always say keep the network on 1 XEV, but I'm wondering whats the difference between 1XEV, GSM/UMTS, and Global ??? and do you ever have to switch between them ???
1XEV is CDMA. Anything else is for world travel while you are with a CDMA provider. If set on them they will be looking for those services which in turn runs the battery down faster.
