What causes the app memory to drain over time? My phone runs excellent and all that jazz, just one of those why is the sky blue questions.

I'd answer it but I'm pretty sure Civic is going to pop in here and do it..that and I still don't fully understand it

Basically memory drains are problems when programmers don't code to tell the application it no longer needs certain resources.

because you always have at least 5 apps running in the background... that's my guess
